Implementation

In the early stages of any project, ABeC reviews the schematic architectural drawings that pertain to the external wall design for the project and makes recommendations concerning the various envelope systems that might be considered. Another way ABeC adds value to the project is to meet with the architect’s design team to review the performance and design parameters and/or constraints, and to coordinate the required work for the project. ABeC’s facade consulting team are specialised in the design of a significant number of façade systems, having examined and designed a wide range of building envelope typologies.

The design of our façade systems is facilitated by the use of computer systems and three-dimensional modeling from beginning to end of the project utilising specialised finite element software packages. This guarantees our customers maximum durability and performance of the proposed system. ABeC has a direct relationship with the most important suppliers and experts in the glazing industry. Using software for finite element design, and for the examination of complex shapes, we are able to study and perfectly calculate each façade system. Knowledge in terms of standards as well as glass production, allows us to give the best advice to our clients.
