Technical testing and commissioning of facades
The curtain wall—as a key component of the building envelope—must meet clearly defined performance and reliability requirements, as set out in applicable standards.
As independent consultants, we carry out a comprehensive technical testing and commissioning process, including:
- document review of design documentation, shop drawings, and performance specifications;
- on-site inspection, with assessment of components (glass, profiles, gaskets, anchors, sealants) and installation methods;
- technical and instrumental testing where required (water tightness, air permeability, wind resistance, etc.).
At the end of the process, a testing and commissioning report is issued, documenting compliance, any non-conformities, and recommended corrective actions. This results in full awareness of the quality of the facade system and its suitability with respect to design intent and applicable regulations.
